Who is Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut?
One of the most prominent independent acts to emerge from Türkiye’s alternative music scene, Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut was founded in late 2014 by Mürsel Oğulcan Ava and Uğurhan Özay.
The duo recorded their debut album, Polonya’nın Başı Belada, at home and released it at the end of 2015. They gained major momentum in 2016, quickly becoming one of the most-streamed independent projects in the country. Their first studio album, Dünyanın En İyi Albümü, was released in 2017, followed by Karanlık in 2019.
In 2021, they released their self-titled album, DKTT, across all digital platforms. Their latest album, Ölüm Dansı, featuring 13 tracks, followed in 2023. The band also released their documentary, Dedim Olabilir, on YouTube, offering an intimate look into their journey as independent musicians.
Known for their self-produced music videos and distinctive stage productions, Dolu Kadehi Ters Tut continues to release new music while maintaining a loyal audience of millions of listeners across Türkiye.
